Video: Tribute to Malala speech from girls around the world


As Malala Yousafzai prepares to collect her Nobel Peace Prize tomorrow, girls around the world have paid tribute to her education campaigning in a new video.

Plan International has recreated Malala国产视频檚 famous 国产视频淥ne Girl国产视频 speech which she delivered to the United Nations in New York last year. In the three-minute long clip, more than 40 girls from 12 countries including Pakistan, Cambodia, Nicaragua, Rwanda and the Philippines voice her words.

Plan International says: 国产视频淚nspired by Malala's example, there are many 'other Malalas' around the world who are fighting for girls to be given the right to be educated.国产视频

Malala and Kailash Satyarthi will be collecting their joint Nobel Peace Prize at the Wednesday lunchtime ceremony in Oslo. The children国产视频檚 champions are also both backing the #UpForSchool Petition which calls on world leaders to keep their promise that all children will be in school by the end of 2015. The petition, organised by A World at School, demands an end to child labour, child marriage and discrimination against girls.

Kainat Riaz and Shazia Ramzan, who are both A World At School Global Youth Ambassadors,聽will also be attending the ceremony and a children国产视频檚 国产视频淧eace Prize Party国产视频 outside the Nobel building tomorrow morning. The teenage education activists and their friend Malala were all injured on their school bus by the Taliban in Pakistan in 2012.

Malala has also allowed her bloodstained school uniform to go on display for the first time to mark her Nobel Peace Prize.
