Researcher wins prestigious award
Congratulations to Dr Emma Moore, who was awarded the prize for Best Presentation by a Trainee at the Neonatal Society meeting in London. Her paper, ¹ú²úÊÓÆµ˜Preterm birth is associated with atypical social cognition in infancy¹ú²úÊÓÆµ™, was presented among a national pool of applicants where the standard was very high.
Dr Moore is a Specialist Trainee in Paediatrics working at the Jennifer Brown Research Laboratory with Dr James Boardman on the effects of preterm birth on brain development. Their research continues the Laboratory¹ú²úÊÓÆµ™s tradition of developing talented clinical academics in training as they become the neonatal specialists of the future.
