See the world through a child’s eyes … preschool children have fun in Nepal

Do we really know what goes on in a young child国产视频檚 mind? What are they thinking? How do they express themselves? How are they feeling?聽
We have a bit of an insight – thanks to some pre-schoolers in Malawi, Mexico, Nepal and Palestine.
As part of 国产视频’s #5for5 campaign, we asked charity and school workers to speak to children and ask them to draw something about their day or their family.聽
#5for5 is calling on world leaders to invest in early childhood development. All young children need access to quality care including nutrition, health, learning, play and protection. Having fun, exploring the world and learning through play is a vital part of that.
World leaders are meeting in Germany in July at the G20 Summit to agree their priorities and what they should fund. We need them to prioritise the early years and especially pre-primary education, especially for the poorest and most marginalised children.
Malnutrition in Nepal among the country国产视频檚 poorest children is still the biggest challenge –聽which is why charities like the Nepal Youth Foundation believe feeding children as part of聽their early childhood development (ECD) programmes is essential.
The 2015聽earthquake, which devastated many parts of the country,聽damaged around 14,000 ECD centres –聽with 5000 completely destroyed. That聽left more than 250,000 children with no access to聽early learning programmes.
Anjita Paajuli, of the Nepal Youth Foundation, said聽the organisation thought聽国产视频国产视频檚 #5for5聽campaign was聽国产视频渨onderful国产视频 and they were delighted to be involved. The charity provided these pictures聽and information about children from ages three to four.
