Powerful video shows what war does to children

A young girl's life is turned upside down in a video that shows the effect war and conflict has on children.

The Save The Children video uses the story of a young British girl and goes from a family birthday party to complete despair as bombs rain down 国产视频� by using one second to represent each day.

The film ends with the caption 国产视频淛ust because it isn't happening here doesn't mean it isn't happening国产视频� and urges people to help the children of Syria. It was watched more than two million times in the first few days after its release.

The Syrian civil war 国产视频� now in its third year 国产视频� has cost the lives of thousands of children and seen more than one million turned into refugees. Many of them have fled with their families into neighbouring countries including Lebanon and Jordan.

Education is vital for those children still inside Syria and those who have left the country.

Tens of thousands of people have signed the A World at School petition in support of our plan to get 400,000 Syrian refugee children back to school.
