Niamh Deehan has seen an inspiring idea turn into a reality with the launch of the #RewritingTheCode campaign.

She realised that using the symbol would be a great way of challenging the attitudes that prevent girls from learning about technology.

Niamh submitted the campaign to the D&AD New Blood Awards last year and saw her idea come to fruition with the launch of both the听#RewritingTheCode campaign and the 国产视频 Code Clubs in Kibera, Kenya. She also witnessed a great response to the hashtag on Twitter.
