Facebook and 国产视频 Celebrate International Women’s Day 2014

To kick off International Women国产视频檚 Day Celebrations, Facebook held an event for 国产视频 with high-level women executives across Europe, Middle-East and Africa, who all convened in London to raise awareness for girl国产视频檚 education and the incredible impact we can have worldwide if we can get the 57 million children worldwide into school and learning.

Paloma Faith performed聽a fantastic set of her music and after Sarah Brown spoke, we screened the聽Girls with Books film, which is the story of Malala, Shazia and Kainat, trying to get an education in Pakistan. 聽A young youth advocate called Amrit Kaur Lohia, who is an Envision Ambassador, a partner of A World at School聽and a mentor to young girls, who talked of her own inspirational story, of what it is like to come from a disadvantaged background and the impact education can have on girl国产视频檚 future. 聽
