British broadcaster, writer and campaigner Sandi Toksvig gives a funny and powerful lecture about gender equality and why feminism makes economic sense.
Sandi Toksvig is known for her many and varied talents – including comedian, writer, producer and activist.
She is loved by millions as the presenter of聽British TV shows QI and The Great British Bake Off.聽Between this and writing books and plays, Sandi generously gives her time to charities and their events. Most recently she became involved in politics as the co-founder of Women国产视频檚 Equality Party in the UK.
Sandi is a mighty moral force, championing human rights, passionate about LGBTQI equality and determined to put gender equality at the forefront of her campaigning and professional life.

The lecture takes you on a journey to discover why achieving gender equality holds up as a smart, progressive and fair way for society to operate.
Sandi tells how Britain’s education system reinforces gender stereotypes by funneling women into service jobs, especially health, social work and education.
